What you need to know about the In-Person college fair experience....
When you get to the college fair, you have two options:
- Wait in line at every booth to fill out the same personal information on cards over and over again.
- Pre-register for the fair and fill out your information once, then have college reps scan your barcode.
While both options technically work, we know which one we’d pick.
How does my barcode work?
When you pre-register, the information you provide gets encrypted in our system, and a barcode is generated. Reps can then scan that code and follow up with you after the fair.
What if my parent wants to come to a fair with me?
This sounds like a good plan. We suggest printing two copies of your barcode so you can divide and conquer if you’re running short on time.
How can I manage email from the colleges?
Set up an email account specifically for the college admissions process. You will get a lot of correspondence from these folks, so having a separate email address will help you handle emails quickly and not miss anything.
